Yorkshire Cosplay Con 6 - Event Activities
The Forum Room: Our Main Area
This year our main convention room will be ‘The Forum’ room, which is a unique and visually striking space situated below a circular glass atrium, on
top of which sits the buildings namesake glass dome.
Some of the traders on the day will be positioned around the circumference of the room facing the stage area. This allows our guests to view what is happening on stage as well as browse through the geeky goodness.
Close to the stage area we will have our very own DJ Tony blasting out all your favourite J-POP, K-POP and English music in addition to the other activities happening in the area.
Live performances
Our opening act is Youtube Star and J-POP Sensation Beckii Cruel and will be performing live for the first time in Yorkshire. Martyn Crofts, Britain’s Got Talent Finalist will be performing his routine live.
Stalls in the area
A variety of Cosplay/Costume performers from Star Wars, Comic Books and Movies will be mingling in with our guests and providing photo opportunities all attendees who request it.
For the kids we have Minnie and Mickey Mouse attending from 2pm to 4pm, to entertain the children and provide photo opportunities. Click here to find out more about our guests.

The Function Suite: The Activity Room
The Activity room is situated between The Traders Room and The Gaming Room. The room is filled with a variety of fun activities for everyone to enjoy.
Art and Crafts Corner with Katie White
For all you creative people out there, we have an Arts and Crafts corner with Katie White who is a British illustrator, artist and designer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Nothing better than learning from a ‘pro’.
Our guests can draw for FREE for as long as they wish as well as take part in the activities Katie White has on offer. Katie is running a Kawaii Art Workshop, which she will be demonstrating to our guests on how to draw cute cartoon and Anime inspired illustrations at specific times, please check out our timetable.
Under 8’s Art Contest with Katie White
Katie White will also be assisting with our under 8’s Art Contest. So if you have a little one attending they will need to hand in they’re lovely art work to Katie before 2pm.
Rules
Work must not be any bigger than A3 size and must be the child’s own work. Child’s name needs to be clearly on the back as well as the number of the ticket. Art can be anything from TV, Movies or Gaming. Proof of age may be required if child looks older. Best of luck!

Star Wars Hire’s
They will be providing us with a variety of interesting Star Wars related photo opportunities. Photos with your favourite characters, lightsabre dueling or a photo on Speeder bike. All costumes are replicas from the Star Wars films.
Quiz with Maria Cleary
Local girl Maria will be hosting our very first quiz at the Yorkshire Cosplay Con. The questions will be multiple choices and will be based on Anime, Manga and Video Games.
Patriot Games
Based in Sheffield and specializes in Role-Play, Board Games, War Games, Card and collectable Card Games will be attending YCC6 with not only a stall but a variety of casual card and role-play gaming activities. So this is your opportunity to play against your friends or trade cards.
