Onwards and upwards

Onwards and upwards We would like to thank everyone once again for making Yorkshire Cosplay Con 7 the overwhelming success it was on 4th April by attracting an astonishing 5,000+ attendees on the door!

It is amazing to see that Yorkshire has so many fans of Geek Culture and we at YCC feel soooo proud that we could bring so many people together in one place. But of course, we couldn't have achieved with without the help of YCC Volunteers, Special Guests, Costume Groups, Traders, our DJ, photographers, sponsors and our Attractions that attended on the day and made sure everyone had a good time.

We would like to give a special thank you to JonDea Photography, for his outstanding photos of the day as featured in our slides on the main page. Most people would agree they was rather impressive.

During the convention we had some technical difficulties on the day but we are working closely with Magna to correct the problems for our next convention on the 8th August at the same venue. We hope you can attend as we have a fantastic line up of guests, attractions and stalls!

We have decided to postpone the program so we can focus on other aspects of the convention for Yorkshire Cosplay Con 8. This means there will be no program available for Yorkshire Cosplay Con 8. Sorry for any inconvenience.

In regards to the Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour charity, they was not able to make the journey to the convention as they was involved in a accident. However, Sentinel Squad UK took over the fund raising on their own stall and all items that was donated to us for the charity went to them as they raise money for the same charity on a regular bases.

Traders! We are not taking bookings for tables until next week as we are planning a new room layout that may effect the quality of traders to better the attendees browsing comfortably. We would rather wait until we know 100% if we have a space for you. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
